The 2012 Dodge Charger comes in four basic trim levels-SE, SXT, R/T and SRT8-with a variety of sub-trim options and packages to consider, as well. The base SE trim comes standard with 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED rear taillamps, dual rear exhaust with bright tips, premium cloth seating, Uconnect Touch (with 4.3-inch touch screen, CD/MP3 and six speakers), air conditioning with Dual-Zone Temperature Control and humidity sensor, Keyless Enter 'n Go with proximity sensor, a power six-way driver seat, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel with cruise/audio controls, acoustic windshield and front-door side glass, and illuminated front cup holders.
The SXT trim adds fog lamps, Uconnect Touch (with a larger 8.4-inch touch screen), heated power exterior mirrors, Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control with humidity sensor, heated front seats, Uconnect hands-free communication with Voice Command, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with microphone, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (with one-year subscription), six premium speakers with 276-watt amplifier, a 12-way power driver's seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, remote star t, a universal garage door opener, front and rear LED-lighted map pockets and 19-inch aluminum wheels (AWD models only). Additional upgrades with the SXT Plus include wheel upgrades on RWD and AWD models, Nappa leather-trimmed seats, 12-way power driver and front-passenger seats, heated second-row seats with illuminated cup holders, driver and front-passenger lower LED lamps, front overhead LED lighting, a security alarm and illuminated/heated/cooled front cup holders.
The basic R/T builds off of the SXT by adding 18-inch aluminum wheels (19-inch aluminum wheels with AWD models), an upgraded performance suspension and exhaust, High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, and sport front seats. The R/T hosts three progressive sub-trims. Beginning with the R/T Plus, upgrades include wheel upgrades, Nappa Sport leather-trimmed seats, 12-way power driver and front-passenger seats, heated second-row seats, driver and front-passenger lower LED lamps, front overhead LED lighting, a security alarm, and illuminated/heated/cooled front cup holders. The R/T Road & Track adds high-performance leather seats with perforated suede inserts, heated and ventilated front seats, 3.06 axle ratio, paddle shifters, 20-inch chrome-clad wheels, auto-dimming driver's side mirror with auto-adjust in reverse, driver memory seat/mirrors/radio, power tilt and telescoping heated steering wheel, power adjustable pedals with memory, four-wheel disc antilock performance brakes, six premium speakers with 276-watt amplifier, high-speed engine controller, retro R/T badging, and a rear body-color spoiler.
The R/T Max also builds off of the Plus sub-trim and adds wheel upgrades, Nappa perforated leather-trimmed seats with ventilation (late availability), the Driver Confidence Group (including Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross-Path Detection, ParkSense Rear Park Assist System, SmartBeam headlamps, rain-sensitive wipers and more), the Driver Convenience Group (including power adjustable pedals, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and memory system), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and the Beats Audio Group (including 10 amplified speakers with subwoofer and 552-watt amplifier).
The premium SRT8 trim builds off the R/T Road & Track and adds high-performance leather seats with perforated suede inserts with SRT logo, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, unique front and rear fascias, functional hood scoop, monochromatic exterior, dark engine turn aluminum interior accents, bright pedals, Uconnect Touch 8.4N Media Center with Garmin GPS Navigation and SRT performance pages, ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera/ParkSense Rear Park Assist, two-mode adaptive damping suspension, and 19-speaker SRT high-performance audio. | |
